International Center for Unity and Peace Jerusalem
The International Center for Unity and Peace in Jerusalem (ICUPJ) fulfills a vision Chiara Lubich first expressed in 1956 at the site of St. Peter in Gallicantu on Mt. Zion - tradition's setting for Jesus' prayer "that they may all be one" (John 17:21). Built on four pillars - spirituality, study, dialogue, and formation - the Center will serve as a space for interreligious and intercultural encounter in the Holy City, open to visitors and residents alike, and dedicated to peace education among Christians, Jews, and Muslims.
