The New Commandment (see Jn 15:12) is at the basis of the life of all those persons who are part of the Work of Mary. Consequently, the communion of goods is practiced by all, in ways that differ according to the various vocations. The early Christian communities are seen as a model: “The community of believers was of one heart and mind, and no one claimed that any of his possessions was his own, but they had everything in common” (Acts 4:32).
